Gotta love a great party

So this weekend there was a party for my sister and Ryan. It was a co-ed wedding shower at night. It was so much fun. I got to see people I haven't seen in so long. It makes you realize how much fun family is. No one wanted the ngiht to end seeing as we were all outside until about 3 am. Sean didn't make it that long. He kind of got sick and "slept" on the bathroom floor.

I can't wait for the wedding. It should be great.

Nothing really new here. I am super excited for next weekend. Sarah is coming in from Germany and we will have a full day of girly time. I am not sure what we are going to do but I am sure it will be fun.

Things for Colleen's other shower are coming along. I wanted to do it all myslef as a thank you for everything she did for my wedding, but I am so glad that Regina is helping she has such great ideas.

Sean and I are starting to talk about what we will do next summer. We will both be finished with school.
I am not sure if I mentioned that I am going back to finish my degree. FINALLY!! If all goes well I will only have 5 classes and will finish in May. I can't wait. Sean will finish in April. We are thinking of a huge party...everyone is invited. Or we may go away somewhere. I don't know yet.

I had a bit of great news on Saturday one of my very best friends is having a baby and due the end of April. I am so happy for them. :)

Well that is it for me. I just pray that life stays this good and gets better with each sun rise.

Wow I am really bad at this...

So I started this to keep people up to date on what is going on with Sean and I. I guess that only works when I add things. :) So I left off at my trip to CA. IT was great and I hope to go back again and be able to spend more time. Yes Cari I promise I will call you. I had no time at all. :( Next time I promise.
So life in IL. Sean is back here. We finally live together back in IL. I am so happy. The move had a few bumps in the road, but thanks to some very good friends and relatives we were able to get moved in. The best part, I got to miss the actual move in. OK so I feel guilty about it, but it was kind of funny. I had to work and I figured that because I work only 5 BLOCKS, yes that is right 5 blocks away I didn't see any problems. Well I was wrong, but it all worked out.

Speaking of my job...I LOVE IT!!!! I wake up and get out of bed without fighting myself. I know part of that is there is no more 85 mile commute. But I really like it. I am busy and that is so nice after 18 months of doing almost nothing. I am learning a lot. We do a lot of studies dealing with insomnia and that is all new to me. I love learning. The people are great. It is a very small office, but that is what drew me to it. I had an opportunity to go a whole new direction with my research career, but I wasn't ready for that just yet. Maybe once I finish school!

Oh yes that is right. I am FINALLY finishing my degree. It's a funny story. I got a letter in the mail at my mom's addressed to Melissa Kroll. Usually I just throw that stuff away. But I didn't I opened it and read it. I almost fell over. They contacted me to tell me I only had 5 classes left to finish my degree. The best part is and I can never say this out loud with out laughing (LOL) it is a business degree. I don't know how that works but it does. So I will start in December after Colleen's wedding and I will finish in June. Sean and I will both graduate at the same time! It is great. I can't wait. By the way w will be having some type of HUGE party next summer...keep it open everyone. :)

So Colleen, my sister, is getting married in October. I am so happy for her. Ryan is a great guy and they seem so perfect for each other. The wedding will be in Lake Geneva so we are all happy about that. As always she is on top of everything. I don't know how that gene totally missed me and all went to her. :) I am so happy for her and pray that she stays as happy as she is now.

What else...Well Sean and I actually live in the city of Chicago now. That was a change for both of us. We are on the edge , but for 2 totally suburban kids it is a new thing for us. We are adjusting OK I guess. Sean didn't seem to like it at first, but I think is getting used to it. I loved it and am now wondering if we will stay in the city. I know we won't go too far b\c of my work. I can't do a commute like I did before. It will put me over the edge.

That is about all I can think of now. I need to go to bed. May God Bless all of you.
